Pretty sure my bike is totalled

Well I talked to Td direct ins today. Adjuster will call tomorrow to give me directions as to the next steps.
I'll see what comes I guess.
I'm not 100 percent certain I'll buy another t7 either.

That's a little different. If it's below axle height just run it over. If it's above axle height you need to do everything you can not to hit it.
In this case the driver stopped dead in the fast lane of a highway, got out to try to catch a bunch of ducks that were in a 100’ median between easy and west lanes of a divided highway. She endangering the safety of normal road users, ultimately costing 2 people their lives.

This was not an accident, it was an extremely poor decision by a stupid girl, she devastated a family. To make matters worse, she showed zero remorse or empathy for the victims in her several trials.

A bent subframe totals a new bike? Pretty easy to replace labour and cost wise. Frame is another story. Subframes bend easily from a lot of varying reasons.
The T7 doesn't have a subframe...the exhaust hanger is welded to the frame

Hey Iceman, glad to hear that you're ok

or a ktm, you know you want to

That really sucks, sorry to hear. Just wondering why you were thinking of picking up a different bike? Were you thinking of another ADV?

I have about 2000kms on my T7 now and would re-buy it in a heartbeat if something happened.

I got to say, pretty ****** subframe design from Yamaha. They couldn't build it with 4 bolts holding the subframe on like many other bikes?

The triumph tiger 800 is bad for this as well... bend a passenger peg bracket, bike is a write off???
