Pretty sure my bike is totalled

I had two bears run across the road yesterday on Houseys Rapids rd. I stopped, my friend did not. He rear ended me with a 750lb Harley. I am 100 percent fine, he catapulted me but I clumsily rode it out and have zero injuries.
My friend went down hard and is recovering nicely in Sunnybrook from multiple injuries thankfully.
I'm pretty sure the t7 is a write off as he hit the exhaust, bending it skyward with the mount and the rear subframe.
Stay safe out there and watch for wildlife folks.

Wow!
Glad both of you are still here to talk about it. Hope your friend makes a full recovery.
Not the best start to the summer, but it could have been alot worse.

Best wishes for you both.

I was glad to see the bike crash in your hood wasn't you but it's less ideal that is because you were in a crash elsewhere. Glad you are ok.

oof, glad you are ok

Glad you’re alright @Iceman and hopefully your buddy makes a full recovery. Your body could take a few days to show any injuries, however minor, so make sure to keep watch for that.

Time for new bike search! Let the fun begin!

Glad that you are OK and hoping that your buddy has a speedy recovery.
Now you get the chance to buy another bike!
What will it be?

So sorry to hear this. Hope your insurance is easy to deal with in sorting this out.
Wildlife always freaks me out.

Oh man, glad you are okay, parts and things can always be replaced. Speaking off, I have the stock T7 Exhaust lying around if you choose to go the repair route, the exhaust bracket, and itself, is known to bend. If you want, maybe look at Camel ADV's high mount one, he cuts that bracket of the rear frame all together

I met a fellow on a new AT last year, his thumb was backwards, said he hit a moose with his last AT, totalled it. The luggage and front end basically exploded into pieces, he had multiple injuries and left the thumb backwards as a memento

Ouch. Skiiers thumb from a bike crash. I hadn't thought of it before but it makes sense.

Sorry to hear about your incident. But I am glad you're ok. This could have played out multiple ways.

Hope all goes well for your friend, good thing is you are both still alive. Coulda been worse -- what if those bears were hungry?

GWS to your friend and your bike.

Yiikkies, glad to hear you are ok, crummy situation, hopefully everyone recovers and everything gets sorted out.
Never knew bears would be in that area, will have to be more cautious. (y)

Thanks everyone, I'm glad it played out the way it did in the end. It is so scary running to find a friend who crashed.
Paramedics did an amazing job, as did a local woman who was able to give exact directions to 911.
The bears never stopped to look, they heard the noise and kept right on running.
I'm a wee bit upset about the t7, it's less than a year old. However, given the circumstances I'm fine with it and insurance will make me whole again on that end.
I did tear it down this morning. Exhaust mount is fully bent/twisted and partially ripped off the frame, exhaust is bent and crushed, header and cat are bent, swingarm has chunks out of it, and some other small stuff. Pretty sure it'll be written off as it's so new and technically the frame is damaged.
Spent the morning removing all farkles, insurance can't have them.

Funny thing is I have the Huzar high mount exhaust coming in the mail right now.
But in this case the heavy stock can saved my leg. If I had the high mount tucked up nicely he would have caught my right leg instead.
If it's written off I'll have some nice aftermarket bits for sale.
