GUESS WHO?

Out of pure curiosity and nothing else, how come we cannot post replies in the WTB/WTS threads in the classifieds? I'm a member of a few other forums and this seems to be a normal practice.

It makes things easier for both the buyer and the seller and any interested buyer.

Example: since a lot of buyers will ask similar questions, it will be easier to just click on the thread and find the answer you were looking for because someone else already asked it rather than PMing, waiting for a reply, etc. IMHO, it will also generate more interest as more people reply and keep the threads bumped.

What do you guys/gals think?

I like it how it is now, was a total kijiji style gong show when ppl could reply.

PM them..on good adds the poster will updated with frequently asked questions on their first post and in most cases posters give a good amount of detail

A lot of good points made in that thread. I'll add a poll to the thread to see how the members feel about it.

How do you warn people about scammers? Overpriced bikes/parts/etc.? I still think it needs to be reconsidered and have the public decide.

If people are constantly bombing threads with insults/etc. then a temporary ban might be a solution. I think the administration should really reconsider this rule, just my opinion of course.

For scammers, just PM the moderator and they'll look into it.

As for overpriced items, why do you feel like you need to police that? What's overpriced to you may be fair to others, given the location, convenience, availability of sizing, etc. If it's too expensive for you, don't buy it. If everyone else thinks it's too expensive, then the post sits there unanswered. Does the "injustice" of someone else paying more than they should bother you that much?

LoL ah!

There is no purpose to having a poll about this, because we've already been down this road and we're not going back.

If there is a problem with a post or you suspect a scammer, just press "report post" and describe the problem.

Ok,i'll say this to you once. This is Paul's site. There is no discucussion. It is not a democracy.

Where do you guys get that Spanish keyboard, tell me now

Sent from my tablet using my paws

Actually i think it's China.

How do you do that inverted exclamation mark, Senor?
He is typing from a Spanish keyboard, when typing an exclamation, we have to enter the inverted one first and then end with the regular one in the Spanish language .
