To discourage this ^^^, the new OPP signs like that one only go up to 99kph =( They have a spot for the 1, but I guess they disable it so it only counts up to 99 (as tested a month ago on Sheppard right before Twyn Rivers).

The one they had on Wellington Road 29 near my place last year would just turn off once you hit over 99.

Not that I was trying to see how high I could get it or anything...

What is the purpose of these signs? Could they not replace traffic cops? Hell of a lot cheaper than paying $70 K per year per cop! You speed, you get photo-radared, or zapped Star Wars style Digital cops...
