Thanks man! I'm asking because the plastic thingy/screw cap on my mirrors flew off, and by the looks of it, it's a common problem.
I dont feel like buying new set of mirrors just for the little piece of plastic.
And here's my baby. He's Serbian and his name is ŽIKA

I've had nothing fly off my mirrors (and they may have gone over 80 once

It's the plastic cover for the screws, sits on the top of the mirror bar...
One went missing on the very first ride, the other one I noticed was loose so I took it off (or as I like to say- I caught it, while on the bike)

Someone stole my cap and left all kinds of marks/gouges in the area so i put the tape on to hide it for now lol--I'm thinking about getting the hotbodies mirror delete and maybe a bar end mirror!
edit: thinking about what you said about it being a common problem, this makes me sad to think that it's another gixxer owner that lost theirs and tried to took mine

Avoid Hotbodies, apparently their quality is not so hot.
Gregg's Customs is where its at if you decide to delete your mirrors.

I've heard their quality is ok but it's fitment that can be an issue?
I don't think much can go wrong fitting a small piece of plastic to the upper fairing.
Thinking of going with Gregg's customs and get rid of the mirrors for good.

I meant their products in general. Sorry should have been more clear.
The windscreen I have on my bike is a Hotbodies and it looks great, the fit is a little off but nothing noticeable.

Thanks for the heads up, I've read about quality issues with the hotbodies as well; I can't seem to find Gregg's custom led flushmounts for a 2011+ gsx-r though.
I should probably wait till they come out, any suggestions on a bar end mirror?
