LIKE A SUZUKI JACKET!!!!

Nice SV dude. What you going to do to it?
'Hopefully throw it away..... JK Nice bike. get rid of your headlight

Re: GTAM - The Members & Their Bikes...

Okay, I'll play;

If you see me, holla. I need moar riding buddies!

Still got a few more mods to add to this machine...

At least you got the jacket right.... :)

Re: GTAM - The Members & Their Bikes...

hahaha thanks. That joe rocket leather jacket cost me $380 out the door!.. can't refuse a deal like that, compared to other jackets with similar features, I hate the branding, but whatever.

And I LOVE that headlight! :p painted it black to look better, but until I find something that looks good AND outputs some serious light, I'll keep it. Lights for naked bikes are looking like a compromise: output or looks...

I've done a few small things already, but I gotta;
- get my fender eliminator installed (home-made, DIY)
- install suburban-machinery type 2 handle bars for a lower riding position.
- find and install a belly pan (chin spoiler)
- probably find some clear-lens turn signals

Maybe next year, if I have a garage, I'm gonna go the GSXR 750 front-end swap.

The Joe rocket cost you $380 out the door and you think thats a great deal so you bought it even though it says yamaha???
Why would you just get a generic black one and get one that actually is a good deal like maybe $200 or check the classifieds on here? There are a ton of less expensive jackets then that.

1. Used jackets = do not want
2. Jacket was orig. $599 US
3. Bought the jacket before I had a bike, or even knew what kinda bike i was gonna get (for my course)
4. A $200 generic black jacket would not have had venting, a removable liner, CE pads on shoulders back, forearms, and/or wouldn't have fit me right; Different brands fit people's bodies differently... the JR line fit me very comfortably. Rocket is a nice "middle" brand, imo. not the best, but not the cheapest either.

I know of people that spent more on their leathers with no venting, which I can't imagine being without now. Also, I won't settle for anything less than leather on my upper body.

I'm sure there are countless examples of people who paid less, but- well basically, I don't care.

maybe when i go to sell my SV, I'll offer the jacket to the buyer as "matching jacket included!"... lmao

I heard if your jacket matches your bike it gives you an extra 10HP and 5LBs of torque! So its not only about fashion guys, its about performance!
