With the shadows and colour balance I figured that you were using off-camera flashes.
Thanks Torcida (as in Hajduk Split supporter?)
I use Pentax K20D and in this case i used Tamron 90mm f2.8 Macro lens (ok portrait lens too). I also used 2 Vivitar 285HV strobes.
Cheers!
Thanks guys…
And I’m not a pro at all! I like gadgets and got into playing with photography. Off camera flashes were used (purchased from ebay for under $50). Wireless triggers are no-name Chinese triggers that can be found for $20-$30… 2 out of 3 flashes worked, so there is a bit more shadows than I would have liked.
Pentax is one of those names that people do not think about because they are not as big as Canon or Nikon, but Pentax consumer cameras are first grade and better value (IMO) than above mentioned brands. The lens is really sharp and pictures do not have much done to them. I did run them through Lightroom to fix shadows/highlights and exposure, but they were crisp straight form the camera.
Anybody can make these pictures if you have an SLR camera. Just get some flashes, wireless or wired triggers and give it a shot.
Here is a good video that explains some basics:

If you're the paranoid type you might wanna blur out your license plate #It has since been updated with decals and a crash cage.
