actually he is absolutely right. The warning about geotagging is a few pages back, new people are coming and posting their cell phone pics in here without reading the whole tread and the warnings

Its true. I had to turn my tagging off after I found out that my phone was set from factory to tag my pics. Freaked me out honestly.

I just got tapatalk and selected no geotagging. I don't get it to tell the world where you are. If I want anyone to know I'd tell them. Maybe it's just me.

Been a while, picture was taken a few weeks ago between Banff and Jasper. YEEEHAWWWW

Hey Jamie, I thought you said you were going dual sport next?
I found a deal I just couldn't pass up. And some of the Supermoto's are too sexy to take off road :(

Nice bike! I got the 2012 Street Striple in crystal white... I'll post pics once done the rest of the mods. I'm installing engine covers and sliders. I got most of the fairings, so even though are bikes are nearly identical, mine will look very different.

I got two questions... can you see anything in those mirrors? And what exhaust is that?

Those are the OE mirrors. They're actually a bit conspicuous but I like them because they are so big so I can see great.

The mufflers are the factory option "off road" silencers. Normally they look just like the OE units in chrome, but the previous owner had these two-tone ceramic coated which I think blends in nicely.

The ceramic coating looks really nice.

I pushed my mirrors forward a bit, which helps, but my arms still block most of the view. I ordered bar ends, so hopefully they do a better job.

I actually didn't even realize all the other mods... like the clip ons, levers, sliders, and you took off the rear pegs. I like the up right seating so no clip ons for me. Levers might be a future upgrade... and for sure the rear pegs are coming off my bike.

Yeah it's in more or less my track configuration right now. I haven't been out of town with it yet but when I do I'll put the handlebar back on and I have the flyscreen too. I like the upright seating too otherwise I would have got a Daytona.

The more I stare at your exhaust, the more I want to get that done to mine! I wonder if there's a place around T.O that does this... Could be something for the winter.

For a hooligan bike like the Street Triple, the less chrome the better. Maybe powder coat the pegs and kick stand too.

Wait and see if you're happy with the stock mufflers. They are pretty sweet sounding IMO but some people want a little more. If you do, then there's no point in getting yours painted.

I want a little chrome to go with the classic headlight look, but don't mind toning it down a little especially those heel guards since they'll get scuffed up pretty quick anyways. Probably just replace them with CF or black anodized aluminium ones.

Get your pics up quick!

how is the windblast compared to your fz? I kind of wanted a speed triple.

I haven't ridden enough in the upright configuration, nor above 120, to be able to say. On the track I have a small fairing and I'm tucked in so no issue there. On the highway with the clip-ons it's much smoother, no buffeting, wind noise is normal maybe even a bit lower. When I put the upright bars on, with and without the flyscreen on will be interesting but I dunno yet.
