No surviving pics of my old rides, but I'm liking my "previously enjoyed" rattle can painted '93 ZX-6.

For rims, swingarms the real gunk i use gasoline, cleans all the crap instantly, for body work, Maguires gold! I never use Water!, i rub on the polish, it drys(fades white) then take a micro fibre cloth and wipe off and Voila!Ill take a pic of mine soon, not nearly as nice looking as everyones here, but i hav e a question. What do you guys use to get that clean shine on your bikes, is there a special product, or brand, thanks.

WAter wont be bad for the bike though right? I havent washed it yet, but im thinking of doing it today im worried about getting water in the inside of the bike, for now can i just use a cloth and water to wipe it? and i can wax the fairings and stuff right? will anything happen to the decals? if there is another thread for this please inform me, or a guide or something, im new to riding haha. thanks.
For the gooey stuff i use kerosene. i avoid gas cuz its hard on plastic and o-rings, etc. kerosene doesnt degrade o-rings so i clean the chain and rims with it.
You'll be fine using a hose, just be mindful of where you're spraying it. theres no need to spray all the insides, just focus on the plastic and any splash back that gets anywhere else wont be an issue.
well the guy asked "what are you guys cleaning your bikes with?" and Gasoline works for me so.... and been using it for years and found nothing better that can cut grime and gunk instantly, i dont use it on plastic or bodywork.kerosene is still a petroleum product and as such is not good for rubber products..
