Bikes never look as good as when they are loaded up for a trip. You strapping joe rocket saddle bags to your back seat?
Here's my two!
Got to check out your HD the other day. Really nice.
Thanks! It's great to have it out again ... great to have options too!
Do you get any break at all having 2 bikes on insurance or do you pay as if you had one bike. Luv the night rod just not sure about the clam riding position is all.
That's actually a Joe Rocket tail bag that I use just to have as a backrest on long rides and store extra stuff while I'm at it. It makes a great backrest on 1000km days and helps promote better posture. I also have a pair of Teknic saddle bags from when I used to have my VFR and I throw those on top of my top box for a longer haul.Bikes never look as good as when they are loaded up for a trip. The picture was taken about 15km NW of Huntsville on Ravenscliffe Rd (also known as Hwy 2) which runs south from the hwy 518. There's a nice dead end road just off Ravenscliffe that is good for a quick break and a nice view. It's kind of hard to tell, but that day I was riding in torrential downpours for about 4 hours of my trip with next to zero visibility in the turns. I had the day off work and wanted to go up to the 518 and over to Calabogie. As soon as I got to the 518 the clouds turned very dark. I never made it to Calabogie that day. The Metzler Tourance tires gripped really well and my clothes kept me totally dry so it was a good experience to see how well the bike and I handled in the rain... Here's another shot.Shanekingsly, where was that pic taken? Beautiful!
