post bike crash?

was turning on a curve and some dust/sand caught my back wheel...man was a harsh landing.

Rode the bike home fine, blessed that I am okay just skin abrasions.

Anyways is there anything I should check on the bike? fairing has 2 scratches, and theres about 3 hairline scratches on random spots. Ran the motor for 5-10 minutes, no leaks, anything else I should check?

As for the photos the only other damage is a tiny bit on the tire bolts, and 1 or 2 random scratches (hairline), I think I got off pretty well being a 70km/h + fall

Check to see if the forks aren't tweaked. If you are going straight and handlebars are turned a bit, that needs to be looked at.
It's quite a bit of force when a bike lands on the handlebars, so the alignment can be off, handlebars can be bent.

Bent things...bars, forks, rims.

Also....you were riding off the right tire track next to the curb? Don't do that....you know the reason why now.

You've not been riding too long correct? Pay attention to the little things, you have two wheels less for friction on the road than a car, loose surfaces don't play nice with bikes and not all roads have had their surfaces cleaned yet. Keep your eyes open for changes in road surface colour etc.

Smooth on the controls. Practice emergency braking, swerving, figure 8's, etc in a parking lot. As for abrasions, look into some (better) gear options.

Look for anything that is dinged, dented, bent out of shape, leaking or hanging off. On top of everything that was mentioned.

Was riding on the left tire track, right lane, it was a random amount of gravel/sand/dust don't know how to explain it, i tried braking but it didn't work out too well, i stood back up after sliding a bit but eventually went down.

You crashed already??? And going fast as well????

At least you're ok. Please be careful out there.

It's been what, a week?

8 days to be exact

yeah i thought i was done, guess not not even 1 broken bone after xrays, got really lucky.

Post pictures of damage.

will do soon

you assume a lot of things, i was under the speed limit i meant i didn't fall at 10km/h

Also, anyone know if I am turning incorrectly? For this left turn (curved road) i pushed left to turn left, however when I was turning i noticed the bike started to straighten before the curve was over.

Was I not leaning enough?

I'm assuming new rider, unused to cornering, not reading conditions, perhaps going faster than they should be. I could be wrong though.

Sorry to hear about your spill. Now I say plasti-dip away !!!

You don't lean to turn a bike

you stood up probably because you applied brakes when you noticed the dust/gravel

its happened a bit in the past aswell, any other reasons why the bike will stand up?
