You're getting some very nice stuff, what bike is it going on?

TC modes are 1,2,3,OFF, with it always starting on 1 when you turn the key on. So even if I set it to off, as soon as I turn the key off and back on it goes back to 1. Then you have to press and hold the button 3 times to cycle back to off..Also you cannot turn it off when you have started to move the bike, you have to come to a complete stop for me to be able to turn it off. So you can only do it before your start riding or at a stop light.

The first time I forgot it puzzled me, because I had a full system with no tuning, but I had already tested the bike out and being an Akro system there was no bog or flat spots. Then all of sudden I go to accelerate normally and the bike bogged out like crazy, then I looked at the gauge and it staid TC 1. And I realized thats what TC on a motorcycle feels like and I hate it! lol

I dont see anything in the PC software that has to do with TC

Personally if it was an option like ABS is, I would not have bought TC.. Its just not for me
To bad! I ride a gsxr 1000 (Dave Noble's Bike) with traction control during endurance racing and I have never notice any bogged down, but it's a Bazzaz controlled via the PC ( i believe), the reason I asked is that if it was controlled through the PC you could probably adjusted to a point in which it would be a benefit for you instead of a pain in the ***.

Dont get me wrong on the track Im sure it would actually make me faster if I compared lap times, its just that the bike is currently a street bike and personally I prefer wheel spin. I enjoy the feeling you get when you drift out of a corner under power. This traction control if I forget to turn it off, will kick in pulling out of my driveway under what I consider very mild acceleration. Or kicks in where I am not even leaned over enough for wheel slide to even be an issue for me. I appreciate the function to be there, I just wish they actually put a toggle switch for a completely off mode. Even if it was under the seat or required a series of buttons to be pressed on the gauge or even under the seat. Id like to turn it off and it stay off..

I will try to get a vid up to show what I am explaining as bogging, to me its exactly the same as a bike with a full exhaust system and a bad tune.

And now back to regular programming, ever wonder what $400 worth of titanium bolts looks like? Not much lol

Also got some Woodcraft sliders in from Blue Streak Racing, as they finally made them for the 2013

While driving back down from the Ottawa Valley, my intention was to stop by Rider's Choice and stock up on oil as they advertise it at $31.99 (Motul 5100 10W50) for the 4l jug which is $15-20 cheaper than my local supplier. In passing by GP Bikes I decided to stop in and check pricing and found it at $34.95. I was buying 2 so I figured I'd call RC to confirm they had it in stock ($6 is $6 and almost the cost of a filter). The guy that answered the phone sounded like I was troubling him in asking, and reported that he had 15W50 in stock. When I clarified about the 10W50 he told me that they don't make it. I told him that I was holding a bottle of 10W50 in my hand, his attitude got worse then he went silent until I asked "So, you don't have 10W50?"... he said no and hung up.

Thanks Rider's Choice for once again making it easy to NOT visit your store.

Trying to find a way to incorporate this sort of thing into riding gear. What you see is a couple of small rolls of 18 gauge aluminum wire, a 20 pound roll of 16 gauge aluminum wire, a hundred or so feet of Inconel wire, a few ounces of 20 gauge 3/16" stainless steel jump rings, a few ounces of 20 gauge 3/16" nickel silver jump rings, and some anodized aluminum scales. The folks I deal with also make 7/8" and 1/2" Delrin (the stuff that good knee pucks and frame sliders are made of) snap together rings.

Nice stuff brother!

Can't answer your question but I use distilled water with water wetter for track days. I always thought running with tap water you're taking a chance with small contaminants messing up the aluminum in your cooling system.

Try water wetter. Lots of people swear by it and its track approved.

Do you just go 50/50 with this and water?
