Thanks!
Hehehe... Street for now, maybe track later. I'll probably take it at least once this year, though.

Lol... It's my first 1000 man, need to get used to it and know it well before I take it on the track.
Just brought it home:
I never buy anything if it's not a good deal. I'm patient when it comes to looking for things like that. I just happened to stumble upon this one when I posted a WTB ad on kijiji. Turned out the seller is a friend of Kevin's so it was a pleasant transaction. Bike is in immaculate (seriously) condition and I think I did well considering what they're advertised/selling for on Kijiji/Autotrader. And thanks!Did you get a good deal on it at least? Nice buy!
So you are using this for the track
and this
for the street?
just screwing with you, enjoy and once you ride a 1000 the 600 will be sold.
It looks like my custom galfer rotors are finally coming along, just got this texted to me...carriers are anodized so I wonder how long they will take to get them together and send them off to me!
No doubt man, not in a rush whatsoever. More instructions are in order.Mina stick with the 6 at the track, I think you have a lot more to learn and let loose on a 6 before you step up to the big leagues, get to that red group first
Were you expecting a dull red like that? Im more of a semi gloss or glossy guy, they look great but Id want a little more sheen to go with the glossy red paint
This makes me laugh because a lot of people have S1000RR at the track and I pass them with my sewing machine like they are standing still....All that power and no idea how to actually lay it down...such a shame. And not that its like that for everyone, but a lot of people track a liter bike but would be better off on a 6
Last time I was at Bogie one of the guys that work for Pr06 was on a S1000RR, after in the pits I was talking to him and he had a 09 ZX6R there also. So I said you must be much faster on the 1000, and he said "no actually I do consistency faster laps on the 600".
