please and thank you!

I just got my Sharkskinz bodywork so instead of posting a pic of just the body I guess I can show them on the bike. They are at the paint shop being painted today...

I also got some Ohlins fork oil for my internal kit, some race gas, and a piece of aluminum tube to make the tool for the cartridges because Ohlins wanted $180 for their tool LOL

Can you run MR12 in a stock bike (no O2 sensor)? How hard is it on the tank internals/lines? Is there special precautions for it?

It's only 87 octane so it's fine for stock engines. It's leaded so its hard on 02 sensors and should not be left in the bike after use. You should either run it all out or use a pump to pump it out of your tank then run it iut of the engine before putting the bike away. Adjusting the carbs or FI to run slightly richer is recommended, but should still make more power without tuning

Thanks for the detailed reply :)

Got this in today, finally!
Wow, nice. Might have to invest in that! When I have my Brembo RCS19 angled where I like it, the brake lever hits the throttle assembly (where the two throttle cables come out, of the front/bottom on the R1). That kit would solve the problem :(

I had to replace the head cam seal due to an oil leak and I added the new motowheels water pump while the bike was in the shop!

Got my bike back today and I hit a milestone...
10,000 kms / 6000 miles on the clock since I bought it last year July 23 who said that this bike will be a show queen?

Friend just picked up this beauty:

If it was in a showroom with a "new" sign on it, nobody would even question it. It was mint beyond mint.

You need to pick up some silicone hoses for that bad boy! That crappy hose detracts from the nice new pump! Something like: http://www.motosport.com/motorcycle/2012-ducati-848-evo--SAMCO-SPORT-RADIATOR-HOSE-KIT (I think that's the right one for your 2012).

Yeah I will be ordering a complete kit plus clamps when I do the 12K service this year!
Nice bike by the way...looks awesome!
Nice! Make sure you post up pics when you get em on!

And thanks! It's not mine unfortunatly, but he did let me ride it around all evening :) Gosh it handles so good, makes my R1 feel like a bus! lol. We had to get it safetied (done by Daniel at Heritage Auto for exactly half of what Snow City was going to do it for), picked up some blank keys and got them cut (bike only came with one key, picked up blanks at Snow City then rode down the street to Cycle World to have them cut, lol :( ), and picked up an oil filter (amsoil Ea15K13 from MotorcycleTnA) for the winter sleep oil change. Then headed down to the Lakeshore and Leslie meet where he pretended he rode it down there (on his M1, in the dark, on the highway, lol). All in all very successful evening :)

Found this mint NX650 with a givi rack in Arizona and I'm riding it home. (described by californian dealer as a Stoner's bike)

Just bought this, the heat has been unbearable in my alpinestars leather..

You didn't like the heat so you added another layer under your jacket?

Picked up a Stryker Vest recently - it can get scorching hot outside at times

Pic not working. Is it the same as the other one meant to be worn under a jacket?
