The twin engine Jiger used 4 rubber drive belts plus 2 crude disc brake mechanisms and lots of drive chains, when you pushed the stick forward it just pulled a couple of v-belts tighter, that was the clutch lol To steer you just made the motor on one side go faster then the other and at the same time it applied a little bit of crude brake action to the opposing drive side.
