You folks should PM cell numbers and establish check points. There is no way your just gonna ride up and meet each other unless you know each other, know the stop points and stick to your time lines.
There will be tons of riders coming from all over the place, at all different times. You will see more than one of the same bike like your own. Although I didn't see another Buell S3T, black, no luggage and stock exhaust earlier this year. lol.
Also, don't get discouraged and bail early for parking. Go right in to main street and you'll be surprised to find bike parking. Just depends on the size of your group. If you don't find something, you can peel back and find parking off the main drag just fine.
It's pretty easy for your group to split up so, establish a time and destination to meet as well. The patio at the Norfolk Tavern is a good spot to cool off while you wait for some stragglers. It does get busy depending on the time of day but, noon or 1pm isn't too bad. Maybe get some duck tape and a marker and identify yourself with GTAM or something and tape it to your hat or back of your tee shirt.
After checking out some cheap tees, some cool machines, thong man, etc, you can ride out to Turkey Point. the beach is pretty good and there is a nice ice cream place across the street from the public parking at the beach.
Still a game day decision for me. Have a conference call in the morning and I'm heading in from the west side. Have fun, ride safe.
Cheers.
