Barrer’s partner, Rainville, was also seriously injured and another motorcyclist suffered minor injuries

As for the Port Dover man charged with attempted murder and dangerous driving causing the death Barrer’s death, he refused to participate in a virtual bail hearing on Friday.

Brandon James Moore, 40, faces at least five charges in the multi-vehicle collision that occurred on Highway 6 near Port Dover on Sept. 14.

Police allege that after the collision, Moore stabbed a bystander with a knife, sending the man to hospital with serious injuries.
