So you are seeing the old plates, I got mine like 20 or so years ago, and compared to the new one, mine is thicker metal and a bit smaller and as you noticed it has the blue border and we have 5 characters

Beautiful old plate. Amazing shape for its age. Old is better quality!

if it wasn't for the scratch on the right hand side it would be almost mint.... Ohhh well after 20 plus years it's not doing too bad

Not mine. I had one of these on my first bike and it's all stress-cracked.

mine has been in use over 2 decades too
have one of the newer ones with out the blue border too, from the early 90s, but it's the same size.
