Pfaff Ducati in Vaughan?

I can see it ... Pfaff is high end and Ducati fits.

Maranello on Steeles? That's been closed for over a year. Did they move elsewhere?

Is it part of the HD dealership they have? They moved last year from younge str to Vaughn.
Maybe @vtom knows doesn't he work at one of their dealerships?

That would be a really odd mix of crowds if they put Ducati & HD under the same roof. Can't see it happening.

Two separate labeled showrooms and shared service area would make the most sense.

I have been to the Ducati Flagship dealership in Montreal and I was told at the time that Ducati was looking for a similar setup in Toronto, this could be it but it would require a new building. The Montreal location is just amazing, also some of the friendliest staff I ever dealt with, I got a full tour of the facility.

Pfaff is renown for high end products and client relations and Ducati is a great fit for them.

Their HD dealership is well run and a way of building scale for motorcycle operations in separate facilities.

Ducati and HD are non competing brands but several of Pfaff’s clients have lots of space in their garage for a Ducati and or a HD to share with their Porsche and Audi or McLaren.

Lots of consolidation happening in the industry.

When we first moved to our town, there was one premium dealership that sold BMW, Ducati and Triumph. It went belly up a couple of years ago.

Honda Powersports promptly took over BMW Motorrad, then shortly after that, the Yamaha dealer took Ducati, and the Indian dealership scooped up Triumph the year after.

Over this past winter, we found out that the Honda/BMW dealership just bought Yamaha/Ducati so now they're under the same ownership. And the Jaguar dealership bought the local Harley-Davidson.

I think having multi-line brand diversity helps keep the lights on for most of these places, as the motorcycling demographic slowly shrinks over time. As @STARSHIP pointed out, having a cruiser, sportbike and dirtbike in the garage is not that uncommon for the remaining well-heeled folks that are still into two-wheeling, and being able to get all that under the same roof and not have to build new relationships with new sales/service staff is a bonus for the customer. Also good for the dealership. That, and also having a good marine/ATV/snowmobile business on the side.

They moved up to the auto mall at Weston Rd. and Hwy 7. Daddy owns all the high end car dealerships there.
I can't seem to find Ducati there, just BMW.

They dropped Ducati. The rumor is they were forced to drop them. @Evoex may know more, he knows the guys fairly well.

It seems strange that BMW is now in GP though. Don't really know where the truth is.
