I'm thinking about doing some more things to my bike to improve it's performance.

I thought I would start with rim stripes.

If you happen to like rim stripes, what colour/pattern should I get?

I will likely be buying them from Tapeworks: Tapeworks Graphics

Thanks!

Fast ones

wow thats a lot of black, I can see why.

I suppose if you get reflective plain white ones they will contrast the black bike and still provide some visibility?

Man, that's a big model number sticker. That must add at least 10hp.

Make sure if you get arrows on your rim strips they are pointing the right way or the aerodynamic drag will slow you down.

Careful messing around with that unsprung weight, you might throw off the handling.

And also, damn that's a good looking bike...

those reflectors are easily costing you 20 kilometers per hours.

Make sure you also pull the ABS fuse for maximum braking. Please reference the bi yearly, GTAM 300 page "do I really need ABS" thread.

Does the adventure sticker on the gas tank refer to the trip it will take to work around that skidplate for an oil change?

-3hp for crashbars, it provides the assumption sometning is immenent

Needs a oled mini big screen Ram mounted to the bars.

I have a few spare sets of these. Didnt suit the color schemes on my bike.

As for rim stripes, I bought them for my Ninja along for $5 off Ali Express delivered. I had white fluorescent they are quite visible and stuck perfectly... but they didn't help with performance.

I used the Stripe It All installation tool. Makes it idiot proof.
Once loaded it takes about 20 seconds each side of rim.

That tool certainly does a better job of applying the rim tape than this tool. I made a couple of small mistakes last time, so it's probably somewhat noticeable when I'm going slow, but no one has ever said anything.

What are you going to do with that tool now that your rim tape is on? That's why I never bought one of them.

I've been playing with different colours on the computer and I was leaning towards the reflective white like my stickers or reflective black to be incognito, but I think Trials might be on to something and the bike should be doused in black. Yellow or green looked pretty good and surprisingly hot pink looked sharp!

On to the next performance upgrade...

Friend wants to do his bike now. I bought enough tape to do two extra sides incase damage happens. Tool works on cars as well. Or lawn tractors. Or wheel barrows. lol
