Oh well. If you know that its the exact same modulator version and light from that manufacturer...then we'll see if i like or dislike it when i get it on the bike and go from thereYes I have seen it and it is distracting as hell. I wanted to turn around and go slap the rider
You almost got hit 12 times in 3 blocks (Downtown Whitby)? Are you sure this wasn't Sant Andreas and "CJ" was following you?
Hold the phone...
LIGHTING EQUIPMENT PROHIBITEDProhibited lamps38(1) Except as otherwise provided in this Act, the regulations or the Motor Vehicle Safety Act (Canada), or when authorized by permit under subsection 37(6) or (7), a motor vehicle on a highway shall not be equipped with(a) more than five lamps of over four candle power (of which not more than four are headlamps) on the front of, or visible from in front of, the vehicle; or(b) any search light or any lamp other than a stationary lamp; or(c) any lamp(i) that casts a light of a colour other than white, or(ii) that lights intermittently or in flashes; or(d) any lamp casting a light of over four mean spherical candle power unless it is so constructed, arranged, and adjusted, that no portion of the parallel beams of reflected light, when measured 25 metres or more ahead of the lamp, rises above 1.07 metres from the level surface on which the vehicle stands, as those heights are determined while the vehicle is fully loaded.
This is the law they use for people flashing to warn of speed traps.

So you can now hang up the phone..lol

Intermittent red light restricted
(14) Subject to subsections (14.1) and (15), no person shall use a lamp, other than the vehicular hazard warning signal lamps commonly known as four way flashers, that produces intermittent flashes of red light. R.S.O. 1990, c. H.8, s. 62 (14); 2007, c. 13, s. 17 (1).
All day yesterday people all day don't seem to know how to drive. Almost got hit at least 12 times. Was riding dt Whitby regular speed on the right lane and someone ahead of me on the left lane took a right turn into a parking spot and cut me off.
Come on Whitby! I expect this kind of behavior in Scarborough, but not Whitby!
Remember forks to ride defensively, especially when you are near cars. That's why I tend to burst fast away from cars to avoid being hit by people not paying attention.
Just for you sweet onion I will make your life easier here are ALL the relevant sections that pertain to MOTORCYCLE lamps under the current HTA, (part IV, Section 62 subsection 2 onward till the last subsection 7), as you will see it states nothing about flashing or pulsing or intermittent lamps being prohibited...
Exactly, it's only 3 blocks! How is it possible to have that many bad drivers in 3 blocks. So shocked in Whitby, didn't know they were full of bad drivers.
My son calls it White-by.
For someone that seems so well informed, you don't care to include the information that pertains to ALL MOTOR VEHICLES.
Unless you are a Cop or a Lawyer, I don't see how you come off so well informed. I scroll down about 2 pages past your quote and find my quote.
See how mine says "Subject to 14.1" - well I'm not a lawyer, but I know I can scroll down to 14.1 and find out if it's saying Motorcycles are exempt.. and you know what it says? It says only Police cars can have one.
So, unless you would like to actually PROPERLY EDUCATE on the matter, and quote any and all relevant information, I would appreciate if you stop acting like you're so well informed, and I am not.
Once again, have a look at section 14... it says "NO PERSON" - I'm assuming that means no person driving or riding in/on a vehicle. Perhaps though, that section of the HTA applies only to pedestrians walking in lighted suits.
