Pennsylvia Over night ride - September 21st (28th as rain day?)

The worse time I had was October 4, 2008 that we had 15 riders went down and lunch took forever because we squeezed into a restaurant that couldn't even cook fast enough. We ran so late that night along 120 and I couldn't see what we hit and ran over with 15 bikes!!!!:D

We had a wild time though. We took 4 taxis to a bar at downtown Williamsport and we all got free drinks (somehow, and still want to thank the rider who bought all the drinks):p. I didn't stay late enough to wait for the party to finish.

weather's not looking good down in Renovo this Sat: t-showers with temps between 22 and 12 deg. C.
 
Dress warm, was down there this weekend and was not prepared for 10 C riding.
We have to wait till noon for warmer temp as weather forecast last weekend was bear droppings.

414 north side is bumpy and the last part are newly laid pebbles. Its new but you'll get stones flying into your face if your following someone w/o rear fender , it chewed up my rear tire fast and need a new one.
South side of 44 from 144 intersection is at its best condition, but bumpy from there to 6.

Counted 24 deer along 44 in less than 1 hour.

Fezz Dinner was short staffed but was a good experience anyway.

Not when you have 15 bikers from GTA :). It was a fun night.

It can be a very nice corner or a very evil corner, it all depends of your skill and speed :)

There are lots of nice/evil corners in that part of PA. But lots of times in the fall it can be more about how hard you can brake than how fast you can corner - a big amorous buck standing in the middle of the road making goo goo eyes at the cute doe-eyed doe on the other side will straighten you up in a hurry. I can tell you that for a fact :-) If there was a contest as to which of us had the biggest "deer in the headlights" look on their face, I think I would have won.

Makes for good stories over beer back at the hotel that night ;)
 
Sorry guys/gals, too busy lately and haven't checked in. Anyway, weather is not looking good here and where will be going so the ride is postponed for next weekend. Hopefully weather will turn out better or else it will be a Fall Color ride.

Yeah that's why I'm thinking of Sunday - but the weather is weird - was supposed to rain to today - solid chunk on the radar and it just up and disappeared
 
If Kettle Creek rd is on your list of roads be very careful as they have sections of gravel for road repairs that are not marked and mid corner. Almost bit it there yesterday.

I prefer the beer selection at the Bullfrog Brewery along with their burgers with ghost pepper relish!!!

What's the status on this? Have the weekend off and can't decide what to do
 
Still on the go, pending on weather. If it rains on Sunday, then it will be a one day Saturday. Even if it rains a bit on Sunday, Guess we cab live a little rain on the way home.

Please post up or PM me if you are interested. I need a head count for motel. Will confirm the ride on Thursday night or Friday morning (just waiting for weather outlook for the weekend). Good weather = go.

Colour definitely starting but I noticed it looked very dry and yellowish in a number of areas.

I'm already committed for the Algonquin Ride - Pricelined the motels sometime ago, so its unrefundable - I'm going rain or shine to Barrie this weekend :-)

Bike had 1st service done today. It's ready for anything. (it's me I'm no so sure about).
Will you be pulling over to take a picture every time we shift into 2nd gear?
How many cameras are you bringing?
