We stayed at Microtel in Olean the last two trips. We left Friday evening as well, and get there just enough time for dinner. Olean has a bit more selection on restaurants than Ellicottville. There is an Applebee and a Perkins close by Microtel.

I've stayed there several times before, as a matter of fact, Olean was my "base" until recently.....Night life in Ellicottville is much,much better! Next time you're in Olean, go to Beef 'N' Barrel for a dinner and to The Old Library for a breakfast. You won't be disappointed !

Many times already. Continued all the way to State College on the Labour Day long weekend and connected to 26 all the way down to 68.
