Parking Ticket at UofT

It's a $30 ticket for Pete's sake. I wasted about that reading this thread.

Sorry dude, your beer money is gone for this month.

It's not the money dude.
It's trying to establish whether or not I can park in that same spot for rest of my life at UofT.
Now I will have to find new places to park where I'm away from other cars and won't get a ticket.

Based on my observations here in the centre of the known universe (King & Yonge)

Bicycles can park anywhere with impunity and do not get tickets.
Scooters can park anywhere and not get tickets.
Electric thingies can park anywhere and not get tickets.
Motorcycles always get tickets.

It is not fair but that seems to be the way it is. If you can legally park your car in a spot, you can legaly park your motorcyle in the same spot.

Car drivers feel the same way about our free on-street parking in pay & display spaces.

Phone the U. of T. police and get whatever rules they are using for that parking area.
I did so for Hart House area and have been fine since.
