Parking lot practice

Learn to counterbalance ie. push left, shift your body right. Stay off your front brakes, too much and you will tip your bike over. Use your back brakes and find your bike's friction zone, this will assist in stabilizing your balancing of the bike. Keep your head up and look into turn, do not look at the ground or you will be on the ground.

Buy a couple of tubes of green or yellow tennis balls and cut them in half. If you happen to accidentally ride over them, no worries. Easier to carry with you as well than a bunch of cones.

any idea how big the diameter should be if i want to practice turning in a circle for a cruiser?...i have no idea how big the circles were when i did the m1 exit course and would like to practice this on my bike...

That bike with training wheels looks interesting. Don't know if I'd use it for slow speed stuff, but interesting none the less.

Does anyone have any ideas for different course configurations to really sharpen the skills? Is it just a case of mixing up slaloms and u turns together? What kind of spacing between cones would be fun to try out?

I still have quite a ways to improve, but I think it's good to have a target to reach for.
