Parking at BMO Field

Anyone know if there is free bike parking available at BMO Field, or do we have to pay the $11 flat rate like all the cages? I'm playing a couple games there this summer and would rather not pay for parking if I don't need to. Any street parking reasonably nearby as an alternate?

Thanks.

dude you have a bike park it wherever lol but ive been to BMO, lots of places you could park a bike, ton of room

Just worried about ticketing, really, I guess. Don't want to come back from my game to a $30 fine.

Park at the bottom of Atlantic Ave., south of King St. Then you just go under the tracks through the GO Station and you're there.

I been to all the Argentina-U20 World Cup games and Ill tell you where I parked and never did I get a ticket or problem....2 spots 1) If you look towards the North/East portion of BMO Field outside is a building I think its the Ricoh coliseum but youll notice a curb towards the entrance and if your late to a TFC game youll probably finds bikes already there. 2) Just by the East Gates youll notice the TTC Streetcar stop and then a street on the left that leads you towards the CNE grounds (During the Indy its closed except this year) this street is closed however right at the entrance there is a building I literally parked the bike right by their entrance lol and never had an issue. Good luck I know how you feel....just gotta do some homework...take a boot around the grounds on your day off...

Cheers!

+1 on Atlantic. I split season tickets with a buddy and park there all the time.

Carpe Diem: I never parked my bike on the actual the grounds; the one time I went with a friend in his cage and parked at the main lot it took us 45 minutes to leave the exhibition grounds. Is there a sneak route I'm not aware of?

I parked just outside the west gates of the stadium (on Princes' Blvd, beside the bicycle racks) when I went a few weeks ago. I did it in plain view of a few cops who were directing traffic. There were also a few other bikes and scoots parked there.

The only problem with that spot was leaving, only because traffic wasn't moving on Lakeshore.

On a side note, if you know anybody that has some tix, let me know. I'd love to see another game. :)

Well you do have a point there...but the bike was so close to the actual stadium that I was able to walk to it 10-15 minutes and skidaddle before all of Lakeshore Blvd gets backed up.

Yep. I've found many areas I could park a bike but after the one weekend when I accumulated $150 in parking tickets because I left my bike on some pavement between the sidewalk and road (not in anyone's way at all... not blocking the road or the sidewalk or even damaging any grass or anything), I try to find "legit" spots now.
