the rider usually makes more difference than the bike.
if it's more rider than bike in stock.. means all machines are pretty much equal. case closed!

Uhm... Checa isn't in FIM superstock... and in those races, the rider usually makes more difference than the bike. Just like you can see guys on 5+ year old bikes in contention in R.A.C.E.
Buy whatever blows your hair back. I'm over having just the fastest straight-line bike.
Yes, yes, yesssssss........
Melandri does it again in Spain.
He gave Biaggi/Aprilia a run for the money.

Where's the MV F4? After testing the 2011 last week I fell in love with it, awesome engine, exhaust note, sexy as hell... I also really want to like the Pani, unfortunately there is no demo bikes in Ontario, so Im stuck waiting for one showing up to make my purchase decision... S1000RR also for 2012 promises more midrange, should be testing that on BMW demo day in August... RSV I was told is geting dated with the engine output, yet again no place to demo one... Therefore so far the best bike is MV Augusta F4 2011...
I recently sold my 06 GSXR1000. It had 50,000km and after many roadtrips and trackdays it never let me down. Just tires/pads/chain. Heck it even had the original battery working great. Exhaust and ECU definitely wakes it up and makes a big difference. Nothing but good things to say about that bike and it was a stud both on the street and on the track. Why is it so hard to believe that a GSXR wins some opinions?
Suzuki have been building bikes for a long time in case you forgot... and GSXR1000s have generally been the bikes that pushed the envelope. K1, K3, and K5 were all awesome bikes.. Other manufacturers were playing catch-up. They're reliable, fast, affordable, and comfortable..I'd say they definitely belong top of the list for street bikes.
