Paintballing question?

So my son is gonna have his birthday party at the paintball place by our house, but i was wondering if you can bring in your own paintballs for stuff like this? There gonna be microballs, but I know these kids are gonna be going through them like mad so if I have to pay the places prices for balls, I will be broke! lol

you have to call the place and ask. usually they dont want you bringing in your own so that they make more money for one, and 2 you dont bring in something thats gonna **** someone up

most places dont let you bring your own balls.

1. to make more money
2. safety

believe it or not, some ***** out there alter their own balls.
which can really harm others.

call ahead, see what they say.
i know buying in bulk gets a little discount, maybe buying in really bulk will get you an even bigger discount.

anyway you slice it, it wont be cheap. lol

Ya I guess the safety thing i can see, but i doubt a bunch of 9 year olds are gonna be bringing in some frozen paintballs! lol
Its like $100 for a 1000

Yea its a definite no to bringing in your own paintballs, i got kicked out of paintball city a while back for doing that lol....just wanted to save some money

Bastards!

Anything to make money.

But yeah, I can definitely understand the safety aspect if you're going in there with a bunch of "pros" who are basically immune to regular paintballs.

You might be able to buy a case or so at a discount ... also if you rent the crappiest markers they won't be able to shoot as much paint. :P

Micro paintballs exist now? I thought that was only in airsoft guns?

Simple: This is how Paintball fields make money. Playing woods ball I run full auto I go through about 2000 per day. Usually it's cheaper to buy a case then to buy the 500+. Another thing to consider is that they are non-returnable so don't go nuts and buy too many either.

4 years ago we found out the hard way, a party of 8 costs us about $650, they offered a party special whereby it was $50 per kid but then the kids ran out of paintballs pretty quickly. Purchased an addititnal 1 000 for $200.00 plus pizza plus plus. and before you know it was $600. We had about 250 left so we went back the next week and they said sorry you can use them.

Kids enjoyed it, but I will never have another paintball party, could have taken them to the Keg and then gone to a movie after.
Now my sons have their own paint ball and softBB guns and shoot them in the bush behing our home.

Our local paintball shop has a birthday special but it's not cheap. I'd look into if your local shop has a BYOP day, Camerons indoor paintball in Hamilton used to have days where they would have deals on cases of paint. But as others have said it's use it or loose it when your done.

And BTW even with a slow *** rental gun you can burn through a lot of paint in just a few matches.

I know in the past NTAG in Vineland has allowed my son to use paint he had left over from the week before, but there paintballs have their logo on them so you can't sneak in someone elses, and they will do a drop test to make sure will break on contact.

The paintball place is called next paintball in Pickering. For 10 kids with 1000 paintballs and the rentals and pizza is gonna be $250. Then any additional Co2 and paintballs are extra of course.
I am hoping that another 1000 balls with suffice, but that may be wishful thinking!

depends on how long you are there.
1000 balls for 10 players = 100balls/player
i would consider myself to be not very trigger happy.
my style is more sure shooting instead of the rambo spray shooting.
i go through 100 balls, every 2-3 full 7 min games.
others go through 100 balls in 3 minutes.

my guess is that even 200 a player wont be enough if you are there for more than a few games.

If you want I can get you a deal at splatters.
And it's always buy paint at place, byop is usually sunday mornings.
I've played tourney's at that field, Next it a speedball setup. Kids would probably enjoy a suburban setup.
A case of whitebox (2000) balls costs them $12.

ya thats the only problem I saw with next is that it looks speedball oriented. I think they would enjoy an urban setup much more.
If you could let me know what kind of deal you can score me for a kids party that would be awesome!
