Pain in the *** routine maintenance jobs.

I found another oddity on my new Ossa.A look at the tiny front brake reservoir shows the usual dot4 warning.

And the clutch reservoir says......HUH? Mineral oil?

Gas gas uses the same style slave cylinder as the ossa (same guy that engineered the pro now works for ossa). The early pro models used regular dot 4 and they were prone to leaks at the slave cylinder. They fixed the problem by useing mineral oil with different seals on the later pro models. You can now buy the updated slave kit for the early ones. Hope that explains it a little. KTM also uses mineral oil for there clutches
