I do a lot of stuff on the bike and around the house. Changing tires, for me, not worth it in terms of time and hassle vs. savings. About once a year I bring my wheels + new tires to Mikeymoto (in Brampton) and he changes them out and balances them for $20 / each.

That’s a pretty good deal. A lot of shops don’t want anything to do with youif you didn’t buy the tires from them and understandably so.

I always use 3 irons and LOTS of lube. Been doing it for over 40 years and occasionally I still scratch a wheel.Ruins my day when that happens.

I believe that is if you bring the wheels in alone. OFF bike with reinstall at home.
Regardless, still a good deal.
That's not rubber, it's steel.......but you might be onto something. It came that way and I've used it for years that way.
