Over the air TV?

^ All of the above. Many streaming sites also have HD content. ICE Films used to be good for this until Megaupload was taken down.

Not that I care but, if you're worried about legality then limit your downloading to shows that are available OTA.

AF4iK, I really don't care, and I haven't downloaded anything in years, probably since I graduated from university and got a job, and that was many years ago. In my opinion, I can afford that stuff now, so if I really want something I either buy it on blu-ray or watch it on netflix. That's just my take.

Why say that? Maybe because it's illegal. The fact that 'everyone does it' does not make it any more 'right' than 'wrong'.

I'm not going to tell you it's legal, because I'm not a lawyer.

I can however say, that nobody cares. The networks, publishers and lawyers send plenty of take-down notices for ppv events (UFC, mainly), movies, and software and say absolutely nothing about tv shows, not even the dvd or blueray rips.

Fair enough. I prefer to have all of my media on hard drives rather than discs.

I don't care either. I was simply answering someones question in this thread.
