Governments will never be as innovative or forward thinking as the private sector.
If you’re fat, lazy and stupid. A government job is for you.

If you're using it for roes or anything with the gc key firefox works just fine...if there are issues try it with IE but there's no way around the java thing and you can't have the latest java update otherwise it keeps going wonky and they ask you to to go revert back to the old one.

Yeah..sux when the gov't runs stuff..imagine how good gov't-run insurance would be...

1970s. NDP I think. Public-owned/public profit insurance. Since it was mandated by gov then gov should offer it was the gist.

Manitoba public insurance.....some of the lowest rates in country historically. Sometimes the government does have the right idea.

The 10th percentile in maths pings below 100, so the next time a reasonably intelligent person says they can't do math, I'm going to kick them in the junk. How's that for intelligence?

Everyone likes hating on the government.

But much research across disciplines in economics, organizational behaviour, business mgmt etc. point out that government structures are in fact quite productive, considering the scope, standardization, and stability of services they need to provide.

Comparing the government (at least in N. America) with a private firm is apples to oranges. They have completely different mandates and accountabilities.

I wonder how psychopaths, mentally insane and serial killers rank in that chart.

Don't know but here are the professions they gravitate towards

+ They gravitate towards
- They don't

Bob Rae wanted to do this in the early 90's but there were a couple of stumbling blocks, One was nafta and the other was all the people employed in the auto insurance industry at the time. The government insurance would have employed 300 - 400 people but private insurance companies supposedly employed 4500. How efficient is that? Bobby boy didn'twant to be seen as putting people out of work.
Most of our insurance money goes to employ all the people in the industry and to pay for all the kickbacks from the bodyshops to the adjusters.

...and how much they're paid.

All the terms he used were kind of overly general...

Classically speaking, ZX600's chart would be pretty accurate. Sociopaths (similar but significantly different to psychopaths) tend to be much more intelligent, analytic, calculating and manipulative than your average person. Since Serial Killers always exhibit at least some psychopathic tendencies they'd rank high there as well but psychopathy always manifests itself with agression whereas sociopathy doesn't.

"Mentally insane" is waaaaaay to broad a term to get a real answer though.
