A bit of a stretch calling guardrails "deadly weapons" after a driver fell asleep at the wheel going highway speeds and struck it.
The only things that the article and the quoted comment had in common was that they both struck a guardrail and tried blaming it on someone else.

Either way, in response to the original quote, still don't get how the guardrail not being on the grass has anything to do with crashing into it as it was off on the shoulder.
