The second is that they might have been naming each other, as the driver, because neither should have been driving. Charge 'em both and let the courts work it out.
In this case wouldn't the trials have to happen at the same time to work? If one gets charged as being the driver wouldn't the other be off the hook? Can two people be charged with driving the car? I'm assuming that the grabbing of the steering wheel might be hard to prove as the only witness has something to gain by saying he wasn't responsible for the crash.
Just wondering. I am by no means knowledgeable in how courts work.
