You kidding? Nims almost died of exposure getting that last pic. And there's deer out there in them there hills!

Yup. it is valid. It is valid because no one else posted up "Timber Creek"
If someone had posted up "Timber Creek" after nims, say at 10:00PM, that other player would have the honour had nims defaulted @ 12:15AM.
That's why it is always prudent to post up your pic even if you are second (or third) to get there; Not just because its fun, but because if the first player defaults on posting the new tag in 3 hours, the honour becomes yours and you get credit (a point) for getting the tag. Of course, you would only get 3 hours from when you posted up your pic so don't dilly-dally or risk getting pwned by another player.

clarification: nims could NOT have re-posted his "Timber Creek" pix @ 12:14AM to refresh his 3-hour window to establish a new go-to location for the tag game.

Cool, I'm still a n00b so obviously misunderstood the 3 hours rule :newb:

Glad for Nims though, as that trek was an effort seemingly unmatched since Robert Peary tagged the North Pole a century ago ;-)

actually clue is in the second comment...lol...

earlier sabex offered coffee to anyone who brings the tag to his town... although not quite, i brought it closer to him... i was going to ask half a cup, but that sounded weird...

man... i am bad at hints...
