Yes, could work. I like the social aspect of the game, so something that does not discourage others from taking a chance on coming, esp from afar. (For example nims and I had an impromptu meet-up for 20 minutes in the dark near Fort York after 11:30 last night...hey nims, nice to see you!)

How about a point system that gives 5 pts for first poster, 3 pts to post within 5 minutes or the OP, and 1 pt to post within 15 or 30 minutes of the OP?

Another suggestion for the future: break each game on a weekly or bi-weekly basis to encourage newcomers. There could then be periodic winners as well as overall season champs.
