The first thing I would do is go on a public motorcycle site and ask a few thousand people I don't know what I should do about one of my closest friends.

What's the big deal? You don't know me and you don't know him, I've left out specific details to ensure anonymity . No harm done, several people have chimed in with enlightening opinions that have changed the way I confronted him about this.
Yes and no...women here actually have the capacity to get a career. The most my sister-in-law will mount to is working at a T&T or a Foodymart, being paid under the table. In either case, its possible to end up with a manipulative gold digger, but its less likely over here.

my neighbour - in his late 40s, wealthy , not handsome but very smart man, met a woman on line and fell in love with her. She is Bulgarian , 20 years old , telling him about her love , etc.
he left his wife and kids for this young girl, was sending money and one day went to visit her in Bulgaria . He ended up being almost killed by Bulgarian mafia ((( and his wife who truly cares about him was sending money to Bulgaria to buy him out !!!
another friend of mine , also met online a Russian prostitute from a poor small city. Left his wife and kids here . Brought the girl to canada and for 2 years he was the happiest guy in the world . After she got the papers , the first thing she did went back to a message place to work as a prostitute . She loves the job(((
second thing , she filed for a divorce and spousal support through the lawyer. After the guy , got upset and slapped her , she called cops and filed charges ..... Now he is paying big money to the lawyers. No family , no kids around , only debts.
another friend of mine Persian guy, went to Thailand as a sex tourist , finally after going back and forward , he married the girl and brought her here. It took her 2 years to be a perfect wife. I remember going to his house for dinner and she used to put slippers on his feet every time he takes out his shoes. Everybody was in shock. He had two wedding ceremonies in Thailand and canada. Supporting her relatives non stop . Finally, after she got papers , she filed for a divorce and spousal support. He was able to get 50% of the condo and poor guy moved back to his parents basement (((
I am not laughing or judging guys who are falling for this kind of woman. One guy told me it's worth it because he was in heaven for 2 years and doesn't matter if he has to pay for it now.
It wasn't heaven to me , it was a great 5 star game )))

In most of my friends experience .... Men were married with kids and instead of working on relations , sex life , etc. , they decided to have fun on a side .... Results are not always the best ones.
women are evil .... Sad to say ... But what woman can do , man can't think of that at all!

First of all, awesome thread. Very entertaining but also very good comments.
There are no two ways about it really. Ive been to Thailand and as someone mentioned up there, those girls know how to play a lonely westerner. Men here in the west are love deprived due to many things, biggest of all, radical feminism, who teaches women to hate man and basically become vicious. So men travel and see all these feminine and friendly women and fall in love (not talking about prostitutes, Just normal women in other countries who are still loving and warm).
That said, if your friend is seriously going ahead with this, no amount of logic will pull him out. When your emotions are that strong, logic had no chance so talking to him wont mean jack. You can only hope that he comes to his senses and cut the trash out.
For some of you who are overly PC or genuinely hopeful people and think that a prostitute will make a great wife, stop watching Pretty Woman. Its not a documentary.
I personally have no respect for prostitutes (except for extreme cases where the pimp would literaly kill her family if she didnt do it or something along those lines where its not a choice). But when you as a human being are ok with selling your body for money, you live in a different world with a different set or morals (not religious morals, just general principals most of us live by. Like not prostituting ourselves). And once you live in that world, its almost impossible to come back and wake up one morning with a complete new set of morality and live a normal life. Some may try but that past will never leave you.
Anyway, i know there are some people here have a big heart and are super optimistic but for a prostitute to leave her past entirely and become this awesome wife and a great mother and role model for someone's kids, that a bit too far fetched.
I say this because i knew a stripper who went through a similar thing here in Canada. Met a nice guy and tried to change for him and things were great for just over a year. But when the honeymoon phase was over, she started to get the itch and slowly slid back to her old life. Thats just how it is.
Hope she doesnt end up getting her papers through him, come to Canada, divorce him, take half his sh&^ like man y Canadian women do and then leave him suicidal. hopefully he meets someone nice here and wakes up to what hes doing.
Now back to the entertaining comments.
