How about 30+ years old

My daughter is only 1 year older than my 1976 KX900 :)

I've been in love with Z900's since they came out and dominated the streets and tracks back in the day. I saw this bike last year at my sons restaurant on Queen W and Shaw. One of his friends had it parked outside and I had to go drool on it a bit :)

Then 2 weeks ago my FAVORITE kid calls and me and says POPs!! I bought that KZ900 for you for Fathers Day (even though it was 3 days late, I forgive him) :)

So here she be, it has clubmans on it now but I ordered some standard bars for it last week just before the long weekend and they should be in tomorrow so I'll post new pics once I install the new bars :)

I have a line on one that is so pristine that I would worry about leaving it unattended! Stay tuned for details! :)

Stop by Kahuna Powersports Saturday and look for me with the Tech Spec stuff if you want to chat about old race bikes.

Cheers,

Steve

Here is my 1978 HONDA CB550.

I have admired these bikes for long and when my friend picked up a CB400 it literally charmed the pants off of me!! :p I just had to have one.

She has about 44,000 km. Came with Yoshimura 4-1 headers and pipes so she sounds like a modern street bike and starts on the first try and she comes with a KICK START... how cool is that?? My mom tells me that when I was 3-4 years old I used to kick start an imaginary bike and then run around the house making motorcycle noises... lol... Now I can do it for real.

This is my 1988 BMW K100RT. It was originally registered in Germany as an RS model, then imported into Norway where I bought it. Later, I took it back to Canada with me as part of my household belongings when I moved back. I recently converted it to an RT model. I've also changed brakes to 4-piston Brembos for better stopping power. Only 75K on the clock. Nice, smooth bike that goes forever.

Not really, but we don't want to exclude those bikes that fall in the "age grey zone" :)

I personally consider anything over 20 years old to be "old school"... but all a matter of perspective.

not mine anymore but sold to a friend.:(

1990 CBR250R too many mods to list. the big things are the R6 tail section, R6 front brake caliper, and powdercoated frame & swingarm.
