I'd go broke replacing helmets on a four year schedule. That would be more than one new helmet every year.

To be fair, most of the helmets aren't for MC but I have six helmets I use regularly. The rest of the family have another six. Depending on the helmet, I am more on the 10 year (or visual degradation) or one big impact replacement program.
