Oil Additive by Dealers ?

For break-in purposes, are dealers adding anything to the crankcases when they top up a new bikes and until the first oil change at 1000 Km?

I should have rephrased the question to ask if break-in additives are added to new bikes?

I recall my rebuilding days of older V8 engines wherein we would coat the cam lobes, prime the lifters and put in some kind of special lubricant to the crankcase oil, then dump it all out after a few hours of break-in time, refill with conventional and head to Cayuga to quarter mile runs on a typical Friday night.

So when the Honda dealer rep told me to not exceed the first 1000 km without dumping the oil, I did wonder if there was a special break-in additive added to the crankcase.

The initial break-in period can generate lots of debris, the 1000kms is suggested in order to remove this.
