Oh Boy. Here we go again. Buell is back??

No mention about where this motor is from. I don't recognize it from anything.

It looks like proprietary

That's a nice motor. If it's in that sport bike. It may be interesting

I can see it now.

Epic fail #2

Actually.... #3.
Buell, shuttered by HD.
EBR, shuttered when HERO couldn't pay what they promised
EBR - current venture.

That is 100% a photo of the Rotax motor from the 1125R

Nope. It's the 1190rx motor from the original EBR.

The 1125r motor was great. Sure, underpowered by modern standards, but super smooth and peppy.

Changed the odometer to mph down in NC/TN and swapped bikes with Smergy (CBR1000). I was looking down at the speedometer and praying we didn't see any cops... Smergy didn't realize I had the odometer in MPH.. zipping along at 100-105 on one of the highways..

The bike really was that smooth at speed that you just didn't realize how fast you were going.

What do you mean, nope? That's literally what it is. I'm not sure what context Low rider found that image in, but given that the resolution matches the image found on the page here - HISTORY | Buell Motorcycle - it is described in context as the motor from the 1125R. The image itself was part of a press package for the 1125R, but given how badly shady SEO outfits have destroyed moto-journalism websites from ten years ago it's difficult to prove that. A higher resolution version can be found as the final image in the image gallery here - BUELL 1125R (2007-2010) Review | Speed, Specs & Prices - and you can more clearly read the 1125R on the side of the motor.

Maybe the original press kit for pics had the 1125r Motor in it, but 1190's were heavily modified. EBR said that basically the only thing between the 2 motors that stayed the same was the transmission.

So, I stand by my original, "nope" --- unless, you meant that the photo posted was the 1125r motor, and I misunderstood, in which case, my "nope" is an "OK, you're right." ;-)
