Yeah, I did it a few years ago on my GS. You get an RF card and you pay per lap. Top up the card and keep going till your money runs out.
Was fun, but you'd need a lot of laps to familiarize yourself with the layout. Or maybe play it on a video game a few times first.
You do get to see some cool vehicles out on the track:

We had just come up from spending the winter in Northern Africa, where I crashed the GS (a few times) in the Sahara Desert. As a result, the panniers couldn't be detached from the bike due to the way I fell. However, did remove most of the drybags and the contents of the panniers. I still had my 50/50 tires on, so cornering was kind of squirmy and not entirely pleasant when leaned over.
Not the right tool for the job, but the only tool I had...
I'm pretty sure if I say I went to North Pole @Lightcycle would respond with an image of him riding there. Not jealous at all.
This is why I stopped going anywhere. He has already been there.
I've ridden Mugello, Phillip Island, Catalunya, and I have tentative plans to ride Portimao next year. And that's in addition to my roadracing history ... Grand Bend, Shannonville, Mosport, Calabogie, Shubenacadie, Mont-Tremblant, Sanair (ouch), St-Eustache (ouch...), Grattan, Gingerman, Putnam Park, Mid-Ohio, Road America, Barber, Jennings, and I've probably forgotten a couple.
I have no interest of riding a motorcycle on the track in the company of untrained car drivers!

Sorry to disappoint. Closest we got was Deadhorse in Prudhoe Bay, the most northern tip of Alaska.
Got to dip our feet in the Arctic Ocean.
This is about 1200 mi south of the North Pole. So close, but still very far.
Learner's day on the 401 with the police on strike.
The only thing I've seem that was scarier was a water skiing race at a cottage country regatta. Boats pulling skiers on a closed course.

Back then it was 20 Euros. I just checked and the price has gone up, 30 Euros from Mon-Thu. 35 Euros for Fri - Sun and all public holidays.
