Ahhh riding in snow is really not a big deal.
Just do all manouvers very slow like you are riding on ice. Remember your Physics training.
You can go even go fast....I was once warned about speeding while I was ploying 2 cm's of fresh snow on hwy 10 !!

Take your time and relax !...Give your ride a good cleaning afterwards to get the salt n brine crap off.
 
ya, i heard about the snow and rain mix, sux. thats why i made sure i got out today. i had to get my fix to carry me over till the next sunny warm weather that comes along. :cool:
 
It's not snow, it's "mixed precipitation". Stop scaring the kiddies! Lousy, yes, unusual no. Anyone who gardens knows (or should know) that planting certain annuals and vegetables before MAY 24 risks possible frost damage in Southern Ontario. That bit of sage advice is probably close to 100 years old, if not older.

My heated vest and gloves will see me through.
 
Yeah got up to 11 and I should have gone out but my blood is thin from 3 months in 25-35 degree weather. and it was windy. I have fresh Metzlers on too....sigh :(
 
yes......... yes it does. but next weekend has a bit of hope. crossing fingers.
 
Can't count on the long range forecast these days or the short term for that matter. I check the hourly forecast and then go outside to see if I feel it in my bones! There's also the weather stone... but I won't post it out of respect for any racially sensitive members here lol
 
Just put my plows into storage and had to go back there today to get one of them...other truck is in the shop..wtf great timing.
Plow is off the tractor too..not too happy about this.
Gotta brand new R1 with 22kms on it. GOD DAM IT!

Any one know if they salted the gta? I prepped my bike for wet weather last night with lots of oil. I rather not wash it, but if they salted i have to.
