Ninja 650R & ER6N Thread

Sal, how did you find the ER6-N with wind protection? I don't have a lot of it on the 250 but I just love the look of that naked bike. Also, I can't seem to find what years / models have the ABS?

I find my ER6-N seems less windy then my 250 ninja did, though that's not saying much. It's pretty windy on the highway but if you tuck down it's not too bad.

When I test rode the ER6 and was used to my 250 it felt very twitchy but it was sooooo comfortable that I bought it anyway and now I've gotten used to the throttle. Get a 2012+, much more comfortable seat and looks better imo.

My wife loves says the passenger seat is good. She referred to the 250's seat as a "granite tampon" and said she needed something softer and bigger.

I recently moved up from the 250r to the 650r. It was a good move. But be prepared for the additional weight of the bike. The 250r was alot easier to handle.

I actually felt more confident in the corners on the bigger bike. Not sure why since that's what people praise about the 250s. I feel like I don't have to try as hard to lean the bike over with the ER6.
