i dont see what the big deal with having chicken strips on a street bike is...there is such a huge double standard on this forum with respect to being safe vs having big balls. The way I see it is that if you do have chicken strips, you're not pushing your tires too hard, which is a good thing for riding in Toronto. Lean...lean...and lean some more, until you lowside your bike into a curb and write it off....real smart. Not to mention this behavior is being encouraged by trackday/racers. How professional.

Also, when you two do your little green group trackday racing at shanny, please let all of us know who you are so those of us who want to have a fun and safe day know to stay the hell away from you.

I did a 4 hour ride today...mostly in a straight line. I've got some massive chicken strips lol

Now if we had some nice twisty roads.......(went to Forks, does not count, thing has like 2 really nice turns and abruptly ends. Plus there are too many residential house there, don't want to piss people off.)

I think most chicken-strip comments are more directed at people who buy a high-end SS that never once leaves the city, similar to people who buy a humvee that never goes further than the school & grocery store. Unless you don't have to work & live way up north anyone will likely have some level of strips on a street bike.

Yummm chicken strips :)

Not sure who the comments were directed to, but my comments weren't so he could ride faster or neither did I ever say anyting about chicken strips, my comments were so he can ride safer! "look ahead and through the turn" i believe i said, never said cranck the throttle

On another note: I should just stop making threads. Literally every thread that I get involved in gets into a massive e-brawl.

I spent two minutes with a belt sander on my tires and I look hardcore now...going to get a grinder and grind away low hanging parts of the bike for even more effect.

Make sure you get the direction correct. Don't want people think you're riding backwards!

I have some bad news for you, it wont quite look the same as actually wearing the tire down riding. People will now you're a fraud! lol
