Before Trump, the Liberals were facing issues related to cost of living, carbon tax etc.
Cons have been great keeping the heat on the issues but, haven’t really stated how they will run the country. Axe the tax but, how will they support the initiatives they plan to do?
What are your thoughts on how the next election will go?

No details before election is called is a smart (but annoying) move. Very highly likelihood cons will be PM. The question is whether it's minority or majority. Never underestimate the power of the libs to fearmonger about the evil cons. You need less than 30% to vote for you to win. The dumbest 30% is the easiest to sway. No matter how crazy/impossible/evil your platform is, many people are willing to believe anything.

I'm pretty sure the cons are going to crush the next election. They are working harder than anyone -- are you seeing them out in your hood?
I got a call yesterday from my local candidate, he asked me if he could put a sign on my lawn. I said yes.. he said great and asked if he could come over to shake my hand. I said yes. Up to the house comes a black SUV, the local guy and another 5 people hop out... PP being one of them.
PP walked up to my house, and knocked on the door. We chatted for 5 minutes, he thanked me for hosting a sign, we shook hands and he was on his way.

Hopefully they still have chance to pull defeat from the jaws of victory. That seems to be the conservatives superpower lately. I personally detest pp and would like to see him lose and never see him again. On the other hand there are no viable alternatives
I would've voted PPC if they had a stronger following. For now Conservative appears to be the best option moving forward.
I'm hesitant to put up lawn signs as I dont want my place to be vandalized.
Sadly, the only reasonable way to roll back the sanity of a decade of the budget balancing itself requires a majority to burn much of the stupidity down. A minority can only slowly move the needle and we need a reset.
Harper's muzzling of scientists is my big objection to that round of Conservative rule. I'm quite unconvinced that this round promises to be any better. Don't want to hear about climate change? Close your ears and drill, baby, drill. Bird flu? Head in the sand and let it rip.
