New scarbrough rider "19"

Sup brother, I'm also 19. I started out on a gsxr 600 (brand new, laugh all you want :)) but that's just me. I rode my friends 125, let me tell you, it's fun as hell but you will get bored of it soon... Now I got my zx6r and let me tell you son, once you get on the 600's you'll feel untouchable..

And once you get on the 1000's you'll feel 600's are small bikes

You don't need to upgrade. On that little 125 you can roll up to big bad Harley pirates and swat their old ladies on their ***** and then zoom off doing knee dragging turns. They won't be able to catch you even on a 1200. They turn like boats. Need to plan ahead and adjust their aftermarket exhausts before making the turn.

Im new here and to riding but anyone who laughs at your awesome little Honda is not worth listening to to begin with.

Put them on ignore and continue to make responsible and wise choices.

Those 125s are sweet - I came within hours of buying a 2010 but then out of the blue found my WR.

Safe and fun travels.

welcome.

Yep nothing wrong with the 125, really what other vehicle that costs as much as it does gets 80+mpg and is that much fun?

Welcome. I loved the 125 I learned on. Just got a 250 for starters because of availability at the time.

Lol that won't happen bro.

Ya tell that to the 2-3 riders that die per week in the gta every summer

And once you get on the 1000's you'll feel 600's are small bikes

And once you get a 1000 you'll be looking for a turbo :D

OP welcome to the forum and don't worry what you ride, just enjoy it. As others have already mentioned this probably wont be your last bike

Thought process of a 19 year old of feeling untouchable.

Be careful of who choose you ride with.

Lot of riders go down every season because they want to keep up with others beyond their skill level.

That said don't be discouraged riding with younger people. I met several from here this summer and the rides were good.
