A guy at work (a car guy) said he was talking to somebody involved with Cayuga Speedway who said they have built a road course in the middle of the oval. I can't find anything about this online. Has anyone heard about this?

Unlikely it hasnt held any racing since 2010 and is pretty rough. However it was sold in March so new owner maybe wanting to do something. It would be very tight as its only a 5/8 mile oval so an infield course would be more go cart/pocket bike/supermoto style I would think.
He did say it was supposedly tight and twisty. Interesting. Maybe some dual sport tires on my YZ250F would be fun. haha

As ken said, the track is pretty damn small to being with, so if they build an infield section it wouldn't be any good for big bikes.
Rode out there last year just to see what was doing. Doesn't look like much has gone on since it closed other than the grass is still cut.
