Driving history or lack there of are really the same thing. Don't let that unsettle you. "Cold enough for you?" Or "Aren't you cold on that thing" are just harmless Canadian greetings. Don't sweat it.

I haven't decided what bike to get yet. I keep changing my mind. Feels like I'm going crazy. I'm interested in a katana right now that I saw on kijiji. I've had a few car projects back home and would like to experience a bike project. The risk is far greater on a bike but I am still intrigued.

Also, I'm going back home March 1st for a week. Praying for the miracle of Spring starting by the time I get back.
