Uh-oh. Why are you selling?
I want the true ADV suv experience. Or maybe a v2 street fighter. Decisions decisions.

I’m now x4 rum punches in. Ima quit looking on Kijiji and posting…this is how mistakes happen.

since we talkin adv...I wonder if your going rtw on your husqvarna, will you be able to take it into a KTM dealer, since there's way more of those around and they're largely the same bikes?

Any dealership will service any brand of bike if they don't require special tools or need to order specific parts form the manufacturer. I was at the BMW dealership earlier on this season and met a guy there who bought in his Multistrada in for an oil change. No Duc dealership in the area. He provided all the parts which he had ordered online. We got to talking while we were both waiting in the showroom and now he's another riding buddy.

I've done all the work on the enduros myself so far, the only time I had an issue with the dealership is when the Husky threw a spoke and it chewed up the rear brake caliper and swingarm. It was still under warranty, so we towed it to the KTM dealership just down the street. They shook their head and called the Husqvarna dealership across town to pick it up (both dealerships owned by the same company). Apparently, the KTM shop could have fixed it, but since it was a warranty repair, the only way they would have been reimbursed is if the Husky dealership performed the service.

Only other time I've been refused service is when I tried to get my R12GS rear tire changed at a generic motorcycle shop. They didn't have the right attachment to balance a single-sided swingarm wheel, so they declined to perform the tire change. Understandable -- liability issues and all...
